Agapanthus

Agapanthus, also known as “Lily of the Nile”, are loved for their large, blue, spherical flower heads that stand upright on tall stems during summer. These South African perennials are equally suited to borders and large containers.

As we are a plant nursery and grower, we always have a large range of Agapanthus on our beds, since we overwinter them. Out of season they will still be available to buy (even though we don’t advertise them on our website). They are all pot grown and during the winter, when the Agapanthus plant is dormant, they will not be showing above the pot (if deciduous) or will just have leaves (if evergreen), until they start re-shooting in the spring. Please do get in touch if you are looking for a certain variety and wish to buy it out of season – we probably grow it! Contact us about Agapanthus.
