In a milestone year, Greg is also celebrating 20 years in business at just 31 years old, a journey that began on a primary school playground and has grown into a multi-award-winning garden design and retail business.

At the heart of the Golden Valley Plants and Leafy Lytham partnership is a shared commitment to quality and performance.
Each year, Greg uses thousands of Golden Valley plants across his show gardens, private commissions, and at his garden centre. For him, partnering with Golden Valley Plants for the 2026 show season was a natural step.

Greg’s story is one of true passion and determination. His love of gardening started early – one of his first memories is watering plants in his grandparents’ garden.
By secondary school, he was already selling plants to teachers (famously delivering a hanging basket instead of his maths homework).
Today, through Leafy Lytham, he has:
- Designed over 40 gardens, from small courtyards to historic landscapes
- Restored the last remaining historic walled garden on the Fylde Coast
- Built a multi-award-winning garden centre at Lytham Hall
- Created a thriving gardening community through his sell-out gardening club
