Creating a unique display with Carex begins with a little mindful planting. We advise choosing a location that receives sun to partial shade, offering protection from intense sunlight. Optimal planting time is during the cool seasons of Spring or Autumn, but avoiding planting in frosts. Ensure well-drained soil, enriched with organic matter for this ornamental grass to thrive. 'Goldwell' adds a touch of interest with its distinctive foliage. With these planting considerations, you can establish a resilient and appealing plant in your garden.

Nurturing the captivating Carex 'Goldwell' involves a balanced approach to watering and feeding. Keep the soil consistently moist, particularly during dry spells, to support optimal growth. While this ornamental grass is relatively low-maintenance, occasional feeding with a balanced fertiliser in early Spring enhances its overall health and vibrancy. By embracing this thoughtful watering and feeding routine, you ensure that your Carex continues to provide your garden with its unique foliage, adding a touch of interest and texture to your outdoor space.

Caring for Carex 'Goldwell' is a straightforward endeavour. We recommend keeping the plant's surroundings tidy by removing any dead or yellowing leaves, promoting its health and vigour. This resilient grass is generally disease and pest-resistant, minimising the need for extensive intervention. If needed, a light trim after the growing season will refresh its appearance. Embracing a simple care routine ensures your Carex remains a hassle-free and visually striking addition to your garden.
