Astrantia 'Roma' is a stunning perennial that earns a prominent place in our collection for its charming blooms and exceptional garden performance. Astrantia 'Roma' thrives in most moist, but well-drained soils. Avoid light, sandy soils as they do not always retain sufficient moisture, leading to plant dehydration. For optimal growth, plant Astrantia in partially shaded areas of the garden, where it can receive some sunlight. Ensure the soil is rich in organic matter to support healthy growth. When planting, space the plants adequately to promote good air circulation, reducing the risk of fungal diseases. Regular watering is the most important part of caring for a newly planted Astrantia.
