Coreopsis adore a hot and sunny spot in a border, or are just as happy in a pot on the patio. Water well to establish, and once established they are very easy to care for and reasonably drought tolerant. Only feed occasionally, and make sure to remove flowers as they go over to encourage fresh blooms. Cut the plant back by a third in late summer to encourage new plant growth, new flower buds and to extend the growing season of the plant.
