Description

Dahlia Trooper Dans, giant yellow blooms grow up to 25cm across through summer and into early autumn and can grow up to around 1.2m.

Planting Conditions

Dahlias thrive in well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. They prefer full sun to partial shade, with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day for optimal growth and flowering. The soil should be loose and fertile, providing good air circulation and moisture retention without becoming waterlogged.

Watering & Feeding

Regular watering is important, particularly during dry periods, to keep the soil consistently moist but not saturated. As dahlias grow, they will benefit from regular fertilisation with a balanced, water-soluble fertiliser.

General Care

Deadheading spent blooms is recommended to encourage continuous flowering throughout the season. Removing faded flowers diverts the plant's energy towards producing new blooms rather than seed production.
