All Dianthus need to be planted in a place in the garden that gets at least 6 hours of sunlight a day. They will not tolerate being wet all the time, and so need dry, free draining soil. Rockeries and the front of borders are the ideal spot for them. That being said, like all plants you must water them regularly to get them established. Remove tired looking flowers and stems straight away to keep the plant blooming. Dianthus need good air circulation around them, so do not overcrowd them wherever you plant them.
Our range of home grown perennials gives customers of Golden Valley Plants an unrivalled selection of great value perennial plants to choose from at great prices, delivered to the doorstep.
