Get ready to find your inner Zen with Echinacea White Meditation. This peaceful and serene plant brings a sense of tranquillity to your garden like no other. With its pure white blooms that radiate serenity, White Meditation is here to create a space of calm and relaxation. Standing tall and elegant, this Echinacea variety showcases large, daisy-like flowers that exude a serene beauty. The pristine white petals seem to glow with an ethereal light, creating a soothing atmosphere in your garden. Each bloom is like a meditation in itself, inviting you to slow down, take a deep breath, and find your centre. Whether planted in borders, cottage gardens, or even as a focal point in a Zen-inspired landscape, White Meditation adds a touch of elegance and tranquillity to any setting. Its sturdy stems and upright habit ensure it stands tall amidst the chaos of life, a symbol of inner strength and composure. But don't be fooled by its peaceful demeanour – White Meditation is a tough and resilient plant. It thrives in full sun and well-drained soil, and once established, it can tolerate drought. With its low-maintenance nature, this plant allows you to relax and enjoy the calming presence it brings to your outdoor space.

Planting Conditions

Echinacea thrives in full sun to partial shade. Choose a planting location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. The soil should be well-drained and rich in organic matter. Echinacea is adaptable to various soil types, but it prefers slightly acidic to neutral pH levels. When planting, dig a hole slightly larger than the root ball, place the plant at the same depth it was in the nursery container, and back-fill with soil. Water thoroughly after planting to settle the soil. With the right planting conditions, Echinacea will establish well and reward you with its beautiful and resilient blooms.

Watering & Feeding

Echinacea prefers well-drained soil and benefits from regular watering, especially during hot and dry periods. Water deeply, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid over-watering, as Echinacea is drought-tolerant once established. When it comes to feeding, Echinacea generally doesn't require heavy fertilisation. Incorporating organic matter into the soil during planting provides sufficient nutrients. However, a light application of a balanced, slow-release fertiliser in early Spring can support healthy growth and flowering. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for dosage and application. With proper watering and occasional feeding, your Echinacea will thrive and reward you with its vibrant and long-lasting blooms.

General Care

Echinacea is a hardy perennial that requires minimal care. It thrives in full sun to partial shade and well-drained soil. Regular watering, especially during dry periods, helps to keep the soil evenly moist but not overly saturated. Deadheading spent flowers encourages continuous blooming and prevents self-seeding. In colder regions, a layer of mulch provides insulation during winter. Echinacea is generally resistant to pests and diseases but monitor for any signs of infestation or disease and take appropriate action if needed. Division every few years rejuvenates the plant and maintains its vigour. With these simple care practices, your Echinacea will flourish and enchant with its vibrant blooms.
