Gaillardia are easy to grow perennials with a long flowering period. Their common name is ‘Blanket Flower’ with good reason, as you will quite literally get a blanket of flowers all summer from this lovely perennial. Plants also set seed so you will get new plants appearing in the border in following years. With their wonderfully hot colour mixes of reds, oranges and yellows, these plants look great in a pot or in the front or middle of a mixed border. Bees and Butterflies love their large flowers too.
