Hardy Geraniums need very little care. They will survive in sun or partial shade, and in any soil as long as it is not water logged and is free draining. If they begin to look scruffy, or have stopped  flowering, simply cut them right back to a couple of inches tall and the foliage will grow back and you will get more flowers later in the summer.
