Heucherella are very hardy, this means you can plant them at any time of the year – even in the middle of winter! Heucherella need a moderate amount of sunlight for their fabulous leaf colours to develop properly. However light green, yellow and silver Heucherella may get scorched in the summer sun, and are better suited to partial shade. Feed every 3 to 4 weeks during the growing season, and remove any flowers that have gone over. Also snip off any foliage that is looking scruffy. Heucherella are evergreen plants, but will need a good tidy up just before spring to allow lots of fresh new growth to come through.
