Peonies are easy to grow and will tolerate pretty much any soil type, in a sunny or partially shaded location. You may need to stake the flowers due to their size to avoid drooping. Dead flowers spikes should be removed and dead foliage should be cut down to ground level in Autumn. Top dress with a general fertiliser or a handful of bonemeal, and feed again in March as it’s growth starts again. Water regularly until established.
