Trollius Cheddar is a much sought after hardy perennial due to it’s soft creamy-yellow flowers that are great for cutting. Holding the RHS perfect for pollinators award, the large buttercup-like flowers bring pollinators such as bees to your garden. A great choice for a wet or shady part of the garden, but will also tolerate a sunny position provided the soil is kept moist.

Globeflowers are relatively low maintenance provided the soil is kept moist and does not dry out, they are happiest in wet or boggy soil in sun or shade. Water regularly, especially during warmer periods. Trollius are very thirsty so you will not overwater them, just make sure they don't dry out. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering and cut back the faded flowers and foliage to ground level in autumn once flowering has finished. Divide every three to four years, in the spring, to maintain vigour.
