Despite needing shelter, this plant does not need constant care and will survive winter as well. Due to its short and wide shape, it works perfectly in a mixed border to provide some colour.

Ceanothus thyrsiflorus Repens should be kept in sheltered, fully sunny conditions for effective growth. Place in moist, well-drained soil. It also has been observed to attract bees, butterflies and moths. Once the plant has flowered, removed any dead parts and use approximately 5cm of mulch to encourage healthy growth.
