Viburnum Tinus is a popular evergreen shrub that provides year round interest. In late winter clusters of small pink buds open to pinkish-white flowers which last into spring, these are followed by dark blue-black fruit. The small dark green leaves remain a feature all year round. It’s no wonder this superb variety has received the RHS award of garden merit.

Description

Viburnum will grow well in full sun or partial shade in any moist, but well-drained soil. Water well and regularly for the first few months after planting, especially in warm weather. In spring feed with a balanced slow-release fertiliser. Prune after flowering but avoid any new shoots if your area is prone to frost. Remove any crossing, damaged or crowded branched on mature Viburnum.
