Speedwell are easy to grow and require very little maintenance. They prefer a sunny, but sheltered position and a moist, but well-drained soil. Water well during the summer months until established, but much less during colder periods. A balanced liquid fertiliser can be applied during spring and summer to improve performance. Veronica can be susceptible to powdery mildew, so it might be worth considering a weekly application of SB Plant Invigorator as a preventative measure. Remove faded flowers to prolong flowering and cut back foliage after flowering if it looks like it needs it. Divide every 2-3 years to maintain vigour.
